XCMR Welcomes Christopher Bowers as Computational Analyst

Christopher Bowers joins XCMR as a computational analyst.

Mr. Bowers brings a strong background in computational fluid dynamics and expertise in utilizing advanced modeling techniques.

His skills will be instrumental in accelerating the design and optimization of XCMR's UV near-field infection protection technologies.

XCMR is pleased to announce that Christopher Bowers has joined our team as a computational analyst. Mr. Bowers brings a wealth of experience in computational fluid dynamics and a passion for leveraging advanced modeling techniques to drive innovation.

Expertise in computational fluid dynamics

Christopher Bowers is nearing completion of  his Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where his research focused on complex fluid dynamics. He has extensive experience using open-source software to model flow in porous media on high-speed supercomputers. Additionally, his background encompasses a range of experimental techniques across various engineering disciplines, including chemical analysis, observation well drilling, and radioactive tracer studies.

Driving innovation through simulation

At XCMR, Mr. Bowers will play a crucial role in advancing our UV disinfection technology development. By employing ray-tracing and fluid dynamic modeling software, he will contribute to the design and testing of new prototypes, streamlining our product development process and accelerating time-to-market.

Mr. Bowers holds a BSE in environmental engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a minor in mathematics. His dedication to research and innovation is evident in his presentations at international scientific conferences and publications in esteemed environmental engineering and physics journals.
