We’re thrilled to announce that Christopher Jones, who joined XCMR as principal engineer, has been promoted to chief technology officer (CTO). Chris has been an integral part of the XCMR team since February 2023, and his passion for innovation and problem-solving has already made a significant impact.
Chris isn’t your average engineer. With 20 years of experience across a wide range of industries, he’s tackled everything from climate change solutions to autonomous vehicles. He’s the kind of guy who’s always looking for ways to push the limits of what technology can do. His work has earned him patents in multiple fields and invitations to present at international conferences. Chris led the development of the uVisor personal sterilization device, which snagged the 2021 RadLaunch prize from the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA).
As CTO, Chris will be the mastermind behind XCMR’s technology strategy and product development. He’ll be guiding our team of brilliant minds as we research and develop cutting-edge solutions to combat biological threats. Chris’s deep understanding of UV-C technology and his knack for turning complex ideas into reality will be invaluable as we continue to push the boundaries of biodefense and biosecurity.
Chris is excited to step into his new role and help XCMR achieve its mission of creating a safer and healthier world. He’s passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems, and he sees XCMR as the perfect place to do just that. With Chris at the helm of our technology team, we’re confident that XCMR will continue to lead the way in developing innovative solutions that protect people and communities around the globe.
