Eric Snelgrove

VP Policy and Government Affairs

Eric Snelgrove, vice-president of Policy and Government Affairs at XCMR, has fifteen years of executive and legislative branch experience, most recently serving as a Professional Staff Member with the House Armed Services Committee and Minority Staff Lead of the Intelligence, Emerging Threats and Capabilities (IETC) Subcommittee.

In this capacity, he conducted oversight of more than $50 billion in defense programs and policies, and advised members of Congress on issues related to science and technology, information technology, counterterrorism, countering weapons of mass destruction, cyberspace activities, Special Operations Forces, and emerging threats.

Prior to joining the committee, Eric served in senior positions within the U.S. Department of Defense focusing on non-traditional intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, counterterrorism, cyber, and sensitive activities.

A former active duty United States Air Force Intelligence Officer and current Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserves, Eric served in Afghanistan, Iraq, and several other countries throughout the Middle East.

He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire, a MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and completed a Senior Executive Fellowship at Harvard University.

Eric also serves on the advisory board of the Common Mission Project, a non-profit committed to solving challenging national security and social challenges through education and shared experience, and is an advisor to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.
