Deborah A. Mosca, Ph.D., VP Life Science Affairs at XCMR, has more than 40 years’ experience as a proven leader of multi-disciplinary, inter-institutional project teams guiding the discovery and development of novel therapeutic agents for human, animal, and agricultural applications in various organizations including biotech, non-profit organizations, and large Pharma.
In her role XCMR she manages the life science related work in the research, development, and commercialization of electromagnetic devices to protect against infectious agents such SARS CoV2 and other microorganisms.
Previously. as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Marine Bio-Technologies Center of Innovation, she was responsible for creating the business strategy to drive the commercialization of marine biotechnologies from North Carolina's vast network of premier marine research institutions.
While at PaxVax, she provided strategic leadership for vaccine development programs and assisted with revenue generation through contracts, licensing, corporate partnerships, and venture capital activities.
Dr. Mosca received her BS. in Biology and Genetics from Cornell University and her PhD. in Biology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has published more than 42 papers and abstracts and has been involved in the approval of seven patents.
